Welcome to The Erme Primary School
We can be found in Station Road in the centre of Ivybridge and have approximately 140 children on roll.
The Erme Primary School is the oldest of the schools in Ivybridge, built in 1856. We combine the old with the new to create a family feel to our warm and friendly school.
Although in the centre of Ivybridge we pride ourselves on our ‘village feel’.
The new part of the school comprises of a music and drama room, hall with Olympic standard floor, new offices and atrium.
We take part in a large number of sporting events in the area and have an extensive number of extra curricula clubs.
The school is part of the Moorsway Federation which is made up of three primary schools. We have one governing body and one Executive Headteacher.
By being part of a Federation it allows the children to have wider experiences and work alongside other children.
We hope that our website will give you a good picture of the work we do and keep you informed of all our events.
